Our Response to Covid-19
At The Pearl of Orchard Valley, the safety of our patients and residents is our top priority. Within our skilled nursing facility, we care for many of those most susceptible to severe health complications if exposed to Covid-19. Because of that risk as well as recommendations from the CDC and IDPH, we have made the decision to restrict all visitors at our facility until further notice. In the event of an extenuating circumstance, any visitor allowed into the building will undergo a health screening prior to entering. We are also closely monitoring all of our employees by performing the appropriate health screenings.
We understand these restrictions and precautions are not convenient, but they are unfortunately necessary at this time to prevent the spread of Covid-19, not only to our patients and residents, but to our employees and their families. During this time, we are working to provide Skype and FaceTime services for our patients, residents and their families.
We are thankful for our staff and their uncompromising dedication. We will readily share updates with our patients, residents and their families as they become available. Thank you all for your patience during this time.
